Marctopus★★★★First experience in Càceres and already a top one. We came here following the recommendation from a local colleague and aiming for a local special: the "cuchifrito ibérico". Awesome. You can not miss it. Cuchifrito is mainly pork bacon cooked in such a way that it is tender insise and crispy -fried- outside. At La Minerva you get in a fashion way with a delicous chanterelles cream and a lovely presentation. They follow this approach with all their dishes so definitely it was a great experience!! Atmosphere sitting in the heat of the evening under the shadow of a 12th century moorish tower with all the locals was an amazing experience and the food was next level. The best pork and lamb I've tasted and you have to try the spicy patatas bravas sauce. We'll be back tomorrow.
