Well what a delightful tapas bar in Chester an absolute gem! Was very busy when we went on Saturday evening but after having a drink in the bar we were given a table. The menu is great, varied selection of tapas, we had croquettes, meatballs, blue cheese with walnuts and calamari and pan con tomate. All were delicious and some of the best tapas we have ever had. Paired with a lovely jug of sangria. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse with honeycomb which was divine and my partner had the afogato.. The service was prompt and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Porta in Chester and can't

Yummy yummy yummy! We had padron peppers, manchego cheese, prawns, patatas bravas, calamari, iberico ham, the herbal drink Botivo and a glass of red. Having lived in Spain, I would say the food was authentic. All of it was delicious, and the friendly staff greet you as soon as you come in the door. They also provided a quick service even when it was busy with a lovely interior, and nice toilets, which says a lot about a place. Fab place, and my friend and I shall be returning.

Called by here on Tuesday night. Place was very quiet when we entered but filled up while we were there. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. We had 3 tapas each which was plenty for both of us. I had a Pastel de Nata and my wife had the dolce de leche ice cream for dessert. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Friendly staff. Great food. The prawns we ordered were gritty and there was Aioli on the Patatas Bravas which we have never had before. We found the menu limited for people that don't eat red meat or pork. The Spanish cider was very nice but rather pricey at £5.50
