Only good point was that the food was decent, it was a decent price as well. We had 2 tables sat next to each, both tables ordered separately but at the same time. The other table had their meals and finished eating them before our tables meals had arrived. When we arrived there weren't many clean tables and we asked if they could clean our table 3 times over the space of 15 minutes. The bloke (presumably a manager as he had an ear piece and wasn't clearing tables) had a stinking attitude because we'd asked him to wipe the table down. The rest of the inside of the pub was filthy, and it appear

This Spoons is named after the actor Frank Cooper who emigrated to America aged 12 & became a film star before changing his name from Frank to Gary. His most famous movie was playing the Sheriff in High Noon who was tasked with cleaning up the town. Shame he isn't still alive as they need him back to clean up this Wetherspoons. It was messy to be polite. Short staffed perhaps? Good location. Lots of natural light & facing an open area with a park. Only one member of staff serving when we visited. I'm sure it's usually better than when we visited.

I go to the Gary Cooper very often, food is good for the price you pay. Service could be better but the staff do their best. I always go with a group of friends who feel the same. The last few week the air conditioning has not been working and it has been a nightmare in there, can’t enjoy your food as much to uncomfortable. When is it going to be fixed ??? I will not be going back until it is also my 5 friends will not go there either unless the ai con is fixed. Such a shame . we so enjoy it there

What an absolute load of rubbish. For a start, taking forever to receive food and then this is what we were given. I know you have to cut back on things but my kids had a larger kids meal at Morrisons that this. This is appalling. Definitely my last meal there unless manager resignes and a more customer friendly owner comes in. You should be ashamed 😡
