Called here for breakfast whilst on a flying visit to Edinburgh. What a find! The staff are lovely and welcoming, as well as just the right level of attentive. The food was fantastic. I had the breakfast roll with bacon and scrambled eggs (with ketchup). My eggs were hot and fluffy, perfectly seasoned and delicious. Bacon was crispy and just as good. It barely touched the sides. Flat white coffee was also perfection, so good I ordered a second. My oppo had the pancakes with maple syrup and fruit and a hot chocolate, and she was equally impressed. The cafe is located in a beautiful neighborhood near a park. The coffee and food were delicious. The cafe is very warm and comfortable, definitely a great place for a quiet breakfast. The portions were generous and the menu offerings are exceptional. Fantastic service as well with extremely courteous staff. We're definitely going to be coming back regularly just for the pancakes. Please don't forget to tip!
