Andrew Mabbett★★★★★The staff are great. The location is a dive but you cant blame that on Spoons. Your guaranteed a group is going to kick off on a Friday/Sat night. Quite a few times people minding their own business are treated to an extra ordinary drama akin to an episode of Eastenders. Easy place to get to if your working on a ship in the docks like we were.
Paul Dent★★★★★Always reasonably priced and quality is good too, eaten there lots of times for breakfast, lunch and later. Good atmosphere in daytime for families, evenings are obviously more mature but never had any issues. Friendly atmosphere with professional staff. Drinks are also reasonably priced as you would expect for Wetherspoons. Regularly go with friends and older family members. Would recommend.
Dilip★★★★★Had a good time with friends here. The place was quite busy so it was a bit noisy, but that’s expected. Most of the food was good, but the Indian dish I tried wasn’t great. You can tell right away it wasn’t freshly made, probably frozen, which takes away from the flavour. Apart from that, everything else was spot on and we enjoyed ourselves.
John Turner★★Oh dear! The food wasn’t great for any in my party. Over done steaks and small portions. Grilled chicken that had clearly been microwaved. Meals missing from the order and slow service for drinks. Not a lot to be positive about. Still nice to catch up with the lads
