Karen Liu★★★We tried the matcha and hojicha lattes and weren't impressed. The matcha was incredibly earthy, and lacked sweetness, which wasn't ideal for my liking. Even more, they were expensive! The vibe inside the cafe, however, was artistic and unique. The stands for seating were an interesting feature and make the cafe stand out. I wish I had tried more stuff from their menu, so I could have more good to say.
A Wong★★★★★I stumbled upon this charming coffee shop after spotting it on a map in the nearby Uniqlo. I couldn’t resist ordering the House Blend Kyoto pour over, which arrived in an exquisite dish and cup. The rich flavors transported me back to my last visit to Japan. The shop offers both indoor seating at tables and a cozy back counter where you can watch the barista skillfully craft your drink. There are also two bathrooms available for your convenience.
K G★★★The Matcha latte and hojicha latte were very good. We were so disappointed that they didn’t serve their dessert when we visited around 3. (they no longer serve their dessert?) It took a long time to have our drinks served. Ogawa coffee needs to reevaluate their business model. Do they want to provide Japanese quality service and the high quality drinks and food? Then they need to train their staff and pay them more or something. It appeared that they would need more staff to do the various tasks.
Phil Hobson★★★★★It’s a busy shop given Boston is quiet on a Friday. The cortardo was well executed and smooth. The bean flavour was to our liking. We liked the stadium seats that give you a good view of everything going on. Really great place.
