We went in here today to get some food and drink while waiting for our hotel rooms to be ready. The service was exceptional. There was a large serving of food, so we didn't go away hungry. The beverages were excellent. There was a large range of food and beverages to choose from. It was nice and relaxing to sit back and enjoy great conversation. It was very tidy. I thoroughly recommend coming here for food and drinks as you won't regret it.

My last stop before a red eye flight at the airport! Came around 7pm, empty considering the time. I loved the environment, can people watch at the window and sufficient power plugs and nice music! Ordered the french toast and it was made so beautifully TT Couldn’t bear to eat it and it tastes as good as it looks and it’s only 580npr so affordable!!! Would totally return if I was staying in Kathmandu for more days!

Stopped in here because I heard their WiFi was strong. I needed to make calls and it did not disappoint. What I found was a hidden gem of a coffee shop. Located upstairs in a quite alley, it is a fantastic respite from the chaos of the streets of Thamel. The service is impeccable and the shop is beautiful. Don't miss out on this place.

Honestly I’m not really a coffee connoisseur or sommelier so to speak but I did enjoy the robust espresso and I did recognise the notes implied on the placard in the drip.. mostly walnut. Usually I just like my coffee black and strong and often make it Turkish style where I have to brush some of it out of me teeth. I do think it feels much too sterile. The lovely selection of classic books on the shelf were still wrapped in plastic and overall the ambiance feels a bit contrived and the lighting could be dimmed. The service was excellent and professional. It’s unfortunate in my opinion that there’s not a space for music, a poetry jam, stand up comedy, etc. The kind of coffee shops I like are not as commercial as this.. I went there for a date because she wanted that place. I’d buy their beans and grounds but I’m sure they can be acquired cheaper elsewhere.

Aapdaen coffee shop located in Thamel. Not on street level so you don't see it hiding on the second floor. It's a must visit coffee shop - beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Lots of couches, workspaces, and wifi. The food is amazing, coffee is delicious, food is well prepped. Everything here is wonderful. They treat coffee and food as an art here. It's a premier coffee shop - and it beats Starbucks anyways without comparison. It's a high quality coffee shop that you have to check out.

My overall experience at the cafe was pleasant at first, and the staff greeted me warmly upon arrival. However, I waited for more than 15 minutes without anyone coming to take my order or even offer water. Due to the lack of service, I eventually decided to leave. I kindly suggest improving staff attentiveness and customer service training to ensure a better experience for guests.
