I had expected maybe a few more beers on tap, but what the taps don't have you can easily find on cans in the fridge. After arriving by tube into the city we tried desperately to find this pub walking through dodgy streets and up hundreds of steps when finally we came across this extraordinary pub in a traditional street with tight knit terraced houses with washing hanging out the windows. It is a cracking pub. We were so relieved to find it and the guy who was running it ( sadly whose name I can’t remember ) was a perfect Portuguese host ….
