Great local pub. I want to twin it with my local the black toad in Hoylake England. Beer on tap is brewed by the pub. The empanadas were very tasty. Very welcoming staff.

Once you have climbed the steep and narrow streets surrounding this place, you deserve a cold one. This is really your neighborhood bar! Super friendly service. I had expected maybe a few more beers on tap, but what the taps don't have you can easily find on cans in the fridge. So sip and enjoy and see if you can spot something you know from the over-plastered fridge!

Great craft beer bar, it's a bit out of the way and the approach feels a bit grimy but worth trying it out. The lady behind the bar was very cheerful and helpful and the beers were delicious. There was a considerable din (loud music) coming from the neighbours but we still managed to hear each other. It's a fun location with a great choice.

Our first night in Lisboa and we were on the search for a real ale pub. After arriving by tube into the city we tried desperately to find this pub walking through dodgy streets and up hundreds of steps when finally we came across this extraordinary pub in a traditional street with tight knit terraced houses with washing hanging out the windows. It is a cracking pub. We were so relieved to find it and the guy who was running it ( sadly whose name I can’t remember ) was a perfect Portuguese host ….
