There were two small cardboard Xmas trees on the display counter. They seemed a token nod to the time of the year and not exactly special. We got our tables. Needed two as there were only two seaters free. That’s not a problem. Out of the three on the window we chose the two clean ones. (Two outta three ain’t bad) Went to order to be greeted by a man in his 40s with “yes mate” This greeting makes me cringe. Not sure why but working in customer service in reta
