This establishment has suffered a massive decline in standards. The service is utterly unprofessional. Staff were openly mocking a customer’s accent within earshot of everyone. Loudly taking the mickey out of a customer for the crime of pronouncing "croissant" with a French accent ( The Right Way ). We could all hear you. It wasn’t clever, it was just embarrassing yourself for not knowing how its pronounced right and It was incredibly rude. They were and the server couldn’t even manage a basic greeting or eye contact. Love this Costa. It has two floors and is pleasantly decorated. Staff are friendly and there are some vegan sandwich and treat options. I love the soya hot chocolate and if you are regular join their loyalty programme. Located near St Ann's Mall and St George's shopping centre. Upstairs is quieter and perfect if you need to chill out or work.

Overall great eat in experience, very busy branch with great sitting area. We visited on Saturday morning when store was very busy, The best part was the amazing staff who were serving very quickly and diligently. We ordered cappuccino, iced latte which was amazing, enjoyed both drinks. Highly recommended for a quick stop.

I stepped into the Costa branch on st Ann’s road on Friday the 20th of February at 9:30 am. I was late for a meeting with an advisor that was taking place upstairs. Upon entering the store, i proceeded to head to the staircase, the manager, a man by the name of Tom begins shouting at me - “excuse me, excuse me!” I ignored him because I hadn’t done nothing wrong. Unless there is a sign on the outside of the shop, as a visitor or customer you are permitted to enter any cafe, restaurant and head upstairs without being harassed by the staff.
