The service here is really good and the bartenders clearly have experience as they know what they are doing and know how to make you feel welcome and make sure you are comfortable in the establishment. Chelsea has wonderful customer service also she was lovely at my last visit. It’s is a lovely place to go for a drink and great place so see friends and family for a nice meal. A really appreciate the workers as they know how to run a nice pub/restaurant.

Visited on a sunday .Downham Arms has a great menu lots of selection.our meals was amazing very hot and cooked lovely we was served by Steven who was very helpful. Also lauren at bar area was also friendly and helpful too.my husband loved watching football on tv's..a very comfortable place to go for lunch or evening meals.. we will certainly be back again and let family know its a great place in Essex for drinks and Great meals for meeting up. Very good value for an excellent meal. Can highly recommend for a good priced meal and drinks are also good and not overpriced.
