The mashed potatoes were soft and enveloping, holding the sauce in a way that made each bite feel whole. Nothing stood apart. Everything blended into a single, steady note of comfort. The Basque mac and cheese brought a subtle edge.

The croquettas de jamon were delicious, the flan, supernatural. The chef was good enough to make me a torilla de patatas (off menu), and it was SO good, that I almost teared up.
