I visited Parker’s Restaurant at the Omni Parker House to try the original Boston Cream Pie, and it was absolutely delicious! The sweetness and texture were perfectly balanced, and you can really understand why it became so famous. I loved it so much! The service was top-notch—very attentive and accommodating, even though we were only there to try the dessert. The atmosphere and ambiance feel classy and elegant, perfect for a fine dining experience. I haven’t been here since the early nineties. I live in Western Mass and back in the day would come into Boston regularly. At least a few times a month we would have breakfast here. This is 2026 and the ambience is still quite understated elegance. As usual I had the eggs Benedict. They are still excellent. And, of course, the Parker House rolls at the place they were invented. Always a special pleasure. My friend had a basic breakfast and was also very happy. Again as always the service was impeccable. I’m glad I revisited an old favorite and will be back.

Such a beautiful historic place! The food was amazing. I think I'm good at making rolls, but theirs are great. I enjoyed the Waldorf salad and Boston Cream Pie too. I'm so glad that this was part of our Boston trip.

I tried the Boston cream pie (4/5) here, and while the flavor was decent, it wasn't particularly memorable or distinctive, and was quite small. What truly stood out, however, was the overall ambiance of the place. The hotel boasts a really nice vibe, making it a pleasant and enjoyable spot to relax and unwind. I appreciated the comfortable setting, which definitely enhanced the experience beyond just the dessert.
