We dined here recently on a Saturday night. The food presentation and wine service were great. The oysters had been just flown in the previous day and were as fresh and chilled as can be, a 10/10. The rest of our meal was okay. We started with New England clam chowder but it had Spanish chorizo (or some kind of pork-based product) in it, which was tasty but definitely not New England style. My husband had the halibut, and it was beautifully cooked and dressed with a dollop of caviar on top. I had the "clams casino", which was a actually a linguine dish with a VERY thick/heavy cream based sauc

It was a Christmas day and we were looking for restaurants that were open and they were. We called ahead of time just to see if there were open seats available. We were not given an oyster menu, but we did ask the waitress and she was able to tell us they had, thus we ordered them and they were good. The food was delicious and so were the wine. Staff are so courteous and very hospitable.

Amazing dinner experience at Ostra! The linguini with clams was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I also loved the alcohol-free mojito, super refreshing. Beautiful atmosphere by the River Walk and very family friendly. We’ll definitely come back!

My wife enjoyed her halibut and cocktails. The redfish was nicely cooked and well accompanied. Service from Peter was amazing. He is definately a great asset to the restaurant. We witnessed him taking care of the patio, bar, a group of 10ish all whilst providing great service to us. Will definately be coming back. Only thing I can say is that the risotto lacked seasoning and was slightly overcooked. Other than that, all good. Thanks!
