I recently visited Akbars and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The place has a lively, well-managed atmosphere and everything felt organised from the moment we arrived. Service was a real highlight. Wajid stood out in particular for being attentive, respectful, and genuinely on it throughout the visit. He made sure everything ran smoothly without ever making it feel overdone, just proper, natural hospitality that made the evening easier and more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. The naan was fresh and tasty, but the curry was only average and unfortunately quite salty. Before making a reservation, I checked the restaurant’s website but could not find any information regarding whether the food was halal. I then called and spoke to the manager, who confirmed that the food is halal. It would be helpful if this information was clearly displayed on the website for customers. Also worth noting that alcohol is served on the premises. .

We had an amazing dining experince at Akbar's. The staff is very friendly and nice. They hosted brilliantly. The atmosphere inside is stunning and cozy. Loved the curries and starters. Popadom chutneys are must have. We tried charsi dishes and haleem which was cooked to perfection. Calm family friendly environment with lot of space and ample parking. We would definitely visit with family again. Thank you.

This was my first visit. We enjoyed different dishes. We liked mango lassi, the way it was prepared either the correct mix and density. All of us finished at least two glasses of those lassi.
