Date/Time of Visit: June 10, 2026 approximately 11:25am i went for a solo lunch. Conveniently located in front Markville Mall along Highway 7. My waitress was Valerie. Very friendly, efficient and attentive! Very impressed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered the Chicken On A Bun with Ceasar Salad. Very disappointed as the menu indicated bun was lightly toasted, I do not believe it was toasted just with the look or taste. Ceasar salad was ok, the croutons and bacon seemed like an afterthought and just placed ontop rather than also incorporating it into the salad. The 2 seater booth was not comfortable, the

Update: The manager reached out to me and offered me a quarter chicken dinner. Thank you for taking my complaint and feedback seriously. He also explained to me that Swiss Chalet no longer peels the potatoes. This decision was made to save time and improve processing efficiency. He informed me that he and his team will do better to ensure that the fries are not burnt and that they live up to the Swiss Chalet brand. _________________________________________ I feel very conflicted leaving this review. Loved our dinner at Swiss Chalet in Markham! The rotisserie chicken was juicy and the ribs were fasntastic. We enjoyed our rib chicken combo chicken dinners with salad and a side of extra fries, and plenty of that amazing Chalet sauce. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Our waitress Valerie was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, quick with refills, and full of positive energy. She made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend! We'll be back soon.
