Went for dinner the very last night of open restaurants before corona partial lockdown, the food was PERFECT and the staff was very nice and attentive, spent some time jocking and chatting with us, as well as telling us about the dishes when served. Booked with the fork and a discount in the reservation option, they were also on that very careful to explain us well how it worked, not trying to trick us into ordering what not included in the promotion at all!!! Only downfall was how the Corona measure were not being followed, We were seated at the bar and people from tables would often stand up

Nice place to sit on the terrace by the water on a sunny warm day and have a couple of drinks. Staff are friendly and food is tasty. The pinxtos were delicious. 🤤 Gave 4 stars since they forgot our order of fries but otherwise we had a great time and will be back. Edit 19/8/2024: Deducted another star. The staff did not see us anymore after we had one drink. We were going to order some food but decided not to after sitting there without service for about 30 minutes.

Very nice location by the river, however we were disappointed by the food. We asked for an iberico platter, instead we got what seemed serrano ham. To be fair, the platter was taken off our bill after we pointed it out to the staff. We also ordered pinchos which we thought were a bit bland for the price. Unfortunately very far from what real basque pintxos are.

Boca is a cozy restaurant located in the center of Haarlem. If the weather is good, sitting outside on terrace next to river Spaarne is a top place in Haarlem. You can select to have tapas, main courses from menu or both. Food was delicious, and we went all the way to desert and cocktails. Service was friendly and didn’t have to wait. We sat first outside, but went inside when it got cold outside. Food also came quickly from the kitchen. Really liked that the portions were not too big, which was great after having tapas plate as starters. Definitely good place among adults to enjoy evening.
