On the last day of my trip, I came across this charming local restaurant. The interior was incredibly warm and cozy, filled with what seemed to be the elderly owner's personal collection of memorabilia and photos. The owner, a truly kind and friendly grandpa, recommended the grilled octopus, and it was absolutely delicious: crispy on the outside, with fresh, tender meat. On top of the tomatoes, there seemed to be some homemade pickles? I also noticed a refreshing mix of shellfish and onions. After the meal, we were even treated to a free dessert — it was so, so good! At first instance it looks like an authentic little restaurant with nice locals making it look the perfect place for beers. Unfortunately the food was a big disappointment. Still in denial we paid crazy prices (most dishes >20€) for small portions of bellow average seafood. Cheap quality frozen squid rings served cold with ONE slice of tomato for 20+€... I hope they didn't just give us the "tourist" menu... It's really a pity.
