Lamb Shish and a rainbow... what's not to like. On a busy Mothers Day afternoon they found a table for two in a corner of the conservatory with a lovely view across the bay next to Cold Knap. Hence the great view of the rainbow after a few heavy showers. The staff helped us to feel unhurried and were informative when needed. The lamb shish and the special version of it with a yoghurt base were cooked to succulent perfection. We took a punt on the Turkish red wine and it went very well with the overall ambience of the visit. A later glass of an Italian red wine finished off the meal just right.

I visited Usta in Barry for my birthday meal with my family and had such a lovely experience. There’s a huge variety of Turkish dishes on the menu, with very generous portions, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for something a bit different. What really stood out was the service, after I accidentally left my bag behind, a staff member kindly ran out to the car to make sure I had all my belongings. Such a thoughtful touch that really made the experience even more memorable. Would definitely recommend!
