Spike McIntosh★★★★★With the caveat that I'm not really a fan of large chains, dropping by here was a very pleasant experience. The staff were doing their best to help customers. Hearing - don't worry it's not a problem, I'll get it sorted - being said to another customer gives a great feeling of care and professionalism. My large black americano with an extra shot tastes good. Even more so given today's was a freeby for collecting points.

Whoever picked the awful, dark blue colour scheme for the side wall needs a lesson in ambience. Then there's another area just to the rear, which seems to be in an almost totally light free environment? Now, this maybe used for those who need a quieter place to enjoy a coffee and a snack? But it just adds to the general unwelcoming atmosphere. Usual Costa fare, reasonably priced and central to the town.
