I visited Marks & Spencer for a click & collect order and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When I approached the checkout, two staff members were in conversation and didn’t acknowledge me, which made me feel like I was interrupting. After I explained I was there to collect shoes, one staff member seemed unsure what to do, passed devices between colleagues, and then walked off toward the stockroom without any clear direction. I followed, unsure if I was meant to. After giving my surname, I was handed the shoes. When I asked if I could try them on, I was told rather abruptly that

I received great service from this store. I went in for a bra fitting with a lady called Kim she was very professional and knowledgeable and very helpful. She brought loads of different styles for me to try and advised me on the best fit. She even ordered me a bra I wanted that they didn’t have in as I wanted my size in a different colour. Thank you.

Sorry to have to write this review I entered the building at around 17:55 And the security personnel with the turban told me to leave right away as they are closing shop. (Bear in mind i was already inside the building) But i could see other customers still shopping, And i checked with another M&S security personnel and i was told i could carry on shopping The first guy was extremely rude and unprofessional and certainly does not paint the company in the best light

I recently visited the M&S Café in Lancaster and had a genuinely lovely experience, especially thanks to the friendly and attentive service from the team there. Breakfast was good amd the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, with warm, polite greetings and a real sense of customer care. It was clear they enjoy what they do, and that really lifted the whole visit.
