From joining the queue to finally receiving our order, it was over 10 minutes — and all we’d ordered was two lattes, a bottle of Coke Zero, and three cookies. For such a small order, that wait time really isn’t impressive. Queueing was its own adventure. Some customers clearly hadn’t grasped the concept, and the person ahead of us paid in loose change. The till displayed the total, but the server still seemed completely flummoxed trying to work out whether the coins added up. You’d hope basic mental arithmetic would be part
