The marriage of English pub & Thai food! On a lazy Sunday afternoon, we happened upon Hop Pole, where you get to eat great Thai food while you enjoy a good beer in a typical English pub setting. The Laksa was awesome and the pad Thai delicious. Our only complaint, the chicken was a bit dry, but still fresh. Reasonably priced food and a good, but typical, selection of beers, what more can one ask for? Way to go Hop Pole, keep on keeping on!

A place I’ve visited a handful of times due to ease of location. Unfortunately, the owner was on shift who I found to to have an attitude the whole time, and near the end of our visit, shouted “who the **** are you looking at” when trying to catch my partners attention. Expensive prices for a mediocre pub and don’t expect the owner to be happy you’re there.

Great pub, with a really impressive Thai menu! We went for lunch and I had the Chicken Massaman curry - very delicious & filling! Warm service and speedy too! I’ll definitely be returning.

Great English pub! We came in for lunch and a beer. The beer was good but the thai was better. While there the locals all showed up to watch a game of rugby on the big screens. It was a great atmosphere and everyone was very friendly. If I'm ever back in the area I'll be sure to pop in for a quick pint.
