My daughter’s 21st birthday party was held at this venue last night. 17/08/2024. I have to say it was an amazing night. The venue itself in my opinion can not be beaten for price and value. The hall is perfect, great layout, big dance floor and also has a balcony for smokers. The manager Steven was extremely helpful from the first contact 4 months before the event all the way through to the end of the event. Always available to answer any questions. It's alright for a local boozer. 2 function suites upstairs, 1 small and 1 larger. Downstairs 1 fairly large lounge and 1 fairly large bar. Popular for karaoke 🎤 at the weekends and even more popular because there is a betting shop right next door. There doesn't seem to be any permanent staff behind the bar in the lounge but there is a bell to summon staff through from the bar. Prices are reasonable for the area considering there are plenty of other pubs in the vicinity...

Came in recently with family and there was a live singer on which was an added bonus. Had never been in the pub before but would definately visit again. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Would definately recommend this local pub.

I attended birthday party, The night was good for most people but for someone who is visually impaired there was a number of issues - 1. No lighting in the hall except for around the bar area 2.No light in the gents toilet, which I reported and still wasn't sorted 2 hours later 3. It's a Belhaven pub but didn't have Best in the function room so my carer had to go down to the bar for a pint, not ideal for me left sitting in the dark. 4. Another thing, as a former entertainer, was you couldn't make out a thing the DJ was saying plus the lighting display was poor with only 1 light as shown in t
