Having seen some of the expensive cake shops elsewhere in the shopping centre, we decided to make our coffee and cake stop at the M&S Cafe. The venue is large and there were plenty of tables free to choose from. Menu signage was great and there were plenty of different food options available not to mention serve yourself cake. Worth a visit and there are toilets nearby! I had an excellent fruity hot cross bun and my wife munched a slice of victoria sponge.

As a coffee lover, I highly recommend their coffee strong and full of flavour, I have tried cortado, almond croissant and chocolate twist. The almond croissant is 10/10. You can grape your coffee and enjoy shopping. No seating area but there are some seats just outside M&S door.

Not too bad. Food:The tuna sandwich was nicely filled but soggy at the bottom, so not very pleasant to handle. Contents were standard. Scone : was a nice size, fresh, excellent clotted cream and jam. Lovely flavour. Pity about the containers it makes everything look like school canteen food, and takes the edge off. Flat white, well it was more like a white coffee, not the best. Cleanliness: area was clean and pleasant, tables cleared readily , neat countertops and trays were clean. Staff: polite and courteous, speedy service.
