The pizza was cooked properly, with good ingredients and balanced flavours, and the starters were served hot and on time. A lovely meal this evening catching up with friends. The pizza at Pizza Express is always reliable, tasty and the presentation is always at a good standard! But the one thing that stood out this evening was the great service from Gosia, She was very pleasant and helpful, regularly checking if there was anything else we needed which was very refreshing these days from the bad service I get in most restaurants. Alexandre was great, the pizzas and salads were good and fast (which might be as important as quality). The Haloumi bites were free but tasted like they were free of Haloumi. Would probably have complained if I had to pay £8 for some "deep fried breadcrumbs with bread inside". Other than the bites, it was all very nice.
