I recently visited the Wendy’s on 87th and Lafayette Ave. and had a very disappointing experience. After ordering only two number 3 meals in the drive-thru, I was instructed to pull up and wait for my food. I ended up waiting over 15 minutes with no communication or update from the staff. I finally had to go inside the restaurant myself to find out what was going on. While waiting, I observed the employee at the drive-thru window texting on her phone the entire time instead of assisting customers. The food was disgusting. I didn’t taste fish in the sandwich, it tasted like it had been fried twice. The fries were dry and flavorless, and the HI-C fruit punch had a weird taste. I really regret spending money here. We asked for condiments and they didn’t give it.

If I could give zero stars I would, as a chef I know how important it’s to practice food safety. When food comes off the grill or out the grease it should be temped. So to receive raw chicken which can cause so many problems. I’ve being calling phone is giving a dial tone since breakfast.

At the pick up window there is a worker who is eating food at the window, while working. She accepted my Coupons, she used a computer, and she stepped on the side and was talking to other workers. Nobody said anything to her about standing in front of the window in view of customers at the window while eating, she didn’t even try to hide it. I attempted to use one of my coupons, and they said that I couldn’t use it, and the reasoning they gave was not listed on the coupon. I told them I’ll take the kids meal that comes with it and they asked me to pull up. 10 min later they bring me the kid
