Great local spot for breakfast—I had the farmer’s breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage links, potatoes, and a biscuit. The potatoes were the standout here—they are very soft and flavorful—almost like they are stewed and then thrown on the grill for browning. The biscuit was tasty and grew on me, as it is the dense/heavy type. Worth a stop in Chico!

I really want to love Mom's, but the experience is always hit or miss for me. There's no consistency with the food, which is disappointing because the name suggests homemade quality. The breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs are either pitch perfect or soggy and overcooked. This time, my food came out about 6 minutes after ordering in an otherwise empty restaurant.
