and had a very uncomfortable experience with a manager named jackie . She closely watched us the entire time like we were going to steal something, which made us feel targeted and disrespected. We had already paid for everything, but we were still accused of stealing. She followed us out of the store, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. When we spoke up about how we were being treated, she tried to justify it by saying her kids are Hispanic and that she “isn’t racist,” and made an odd comment about giving us guacamole, tamales, and chips, which made the situation feel even more uncomforta

The staff is always pleasant and willing to help. Good sized Starbucks. Produce well stocked and appealing. If you in need of gas it's about 30 to 50 cheaper than the other stations in Bishop. Vons points always help

I am happy there is a Vons in DHS. All the checkers are super nice. Their meat is top quality and they carry a good variety of Asian and Indian produce. I choose shopping at Vons over Stater Bros any day.

I entered the store and asked for a sales ad. The associate walked past me wearing a mask and spoke, but I could not hear her. I followed her and told her I didn’t hear what she said. She replied that they do not have sales ads and that customers need to download the app. At the time, I did not have my phone with me, and the associate was not aware of that. I still found her response to be rude and unprofessional. Because of this experience, I will choose to shop in other cities rather than in Desert Hot Springs.
