I recently visited the Pollo Regio on Main St. in Lewisville this past weekend, and I was beyond impressed. I want to give a special shout-out to the manager, Sandra, and her incredible team for the outstanding job they did during the night shift. Even though it was a busy weekend night, the service was seamless, the food was fresh, and the entire staff was professional and attentive. These have to be fake reviews because Pollo Regio has definitely been going downhill the past few years. The portions are smaller and now they’ve added a drink to the menu options to justify raising the prices. Service is bad especially at the drive thru, so no I won’t pull up when there’s no one behind me just so you can take your time and STILL get my order wrong.

Looks like private equity bought out pollo Regio. The sizes of the sides by more than 50%. I love Pollo Regio and I used to visit twice a month. Looks like they started taking their customers for granted. I am taking my money elsewhere where they give me food for my money’s worth.
