⭐⭐⭐☆☆ This was my first visit to the Red Lobster on Plymouth Road in Livonia. The restaurant had a darker atmosphere than I expected, likely because of the navy-blue wall color, but it was clean and comfortable overall. The food was good, although some dishes were a little bland for my taste. Thankfully, that’s easy enough to fix with a little salt and pepper. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits definitely lived up to the hype and were my favorite part of the meal! Our server was on her very first day, which was actually pretty cool to see. I celebrated my birthday at one of my favorite restaurants. Eaten at them for over 40 years in different states. I am happy they brought back the old favorites - hush puppies and bacon wrapped scallops. While the scallops are on the appetizer menu, they come with some greens that I was able to get the French dressing instead of Italian. With no Long John Silvers around Metro Detroit any more, this one place that you can get hush puppies. Service was friendly and efficient. Dinning room clean and not crowded on Sunday at lunch. Since I live near now, I will be back.

I went for the endless shrimp deal. The food was good, but the service was slooooow. My party want more shrimp dishes but couldn't get it.... no waiter, we needed more drinks, she never came around to even ask if we wanted more water or something different. Then waiter went MIA for about 10mins after we said we needed boxes.
