Done with New Lenox Portillo’s. Most expensive and worst quality hot dog around. $20 for 2 hot dogs and fries and this is what you get. Fourth time I’ve brought home food from this location and been very disappointed, finally had to post it.

The food is absolutely amazing, everyone is so friendly. I feel like I’m getting a celebration treat every time I eat here. So many options and I love the seasonal dessert offerings. The hot peppers on the Italian beef is an absolute MUST along with the cheese fries. Best Chicago style food around.

Stopped after baseball for milkshakes for the kids. Didn't want to use the kiosk to order. Employees at the counter to busy in conversation to take our order, manager came over to take it. Waited for milkshakes, employee finished making them and sat them on the counter where they sat until we flagged down the manager to hand them to us. The chocolate shakes were fine but the vanilla was not edible. It was gritty and has ice chunks in it disgusting. $4.50 for a small milkshake, ridiculous.

Always a good time at Portillo's. Good food, love all the antiques hangers ng overhead. The chocolate cake.... Delicious!!! I was hoping the ribs had not changed, but they are different. Still falls off the bone as always. But the sauce was more of watery dip. No extra sauce, no wetnap and the portions were smaller. But, still delicious. Tip if you want ribs, you will need to go inside to order.
