Perfect location to go to after a Cubs Spring Training game. It’s literally right down the road from the stadium. It thankfully wasn’t too busy so we waited in line, ordered, and had our food within 15 minutes. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. We were able to eat outside since the weather was so nice. I really love and appreciate them for having the garden dog. It’s my favorite.

Been too long Portillo's... Love this place but let's be real here, it's all about the BIG Italian beef, quick dip, both sweet and spicy peppers with cheese sauce on the side and a Large Cake Shake. Good salads and the Chicago dog hits right... The new Strawberry Cake Shake is good but I'd stick with the chocolate cake shake and that BIG Italian! 😋

I know, I know, I know…the first time I have Portillo’s it’s in Tempe and not Chicago, but that being said…DAMN, this place is good!!! 😳😂🤩 I’ve been told to try it in Chicago but I haven’t had a chance to yet. But I’m still glad I finally got a chance to see what it’s all about! It definitely lives up to the hype 🔥 6/5 stars! And oh, I’ll be trying it Chicago soon too 😉

I’ve never been inside a Portillos but I ordered it on DoorDash. Two hot dogs for $16 w delivery fees isn’t bad. The plant based garden dog is pretty good but the relish I had them add is what prompted this review bc it’s so artificially green, I didn’t finish the hot dog. The chili dog was really good, no notes.
