We are visiting from out of town and have been anticipating eating at Lola’s again since we were in Mt. Pleasant last year. We were seated quickly, but our server was kind of rude when we questioned the sizes of the Gator Bites. A $27 large for 4 people is worth questioning to ensure we got the right size. We went with the large and it was good, but not good for the value. My son ordered an adult shrimp basket and we asked if he could have Mac and cheese as the side. If your looking for just casually date night. This is the place for you. The atmosphere was great, great vibes wonderful food, and our server was amazing with giving great details and special. The cornbread was good but a little drier than I expected. Otherwise everything else was great! The shrimp was flavorful without too much breading. I enjoyed the corn, it’s nice that they have a few veggie side options. I had low expectations for the bread pudding because everyone does it differently, but the texture was exactly what I like.
