The donuts look very tasty, unfortunately they do not live up to the visual allure. They are not fluffy and light, but rather a bit crumbly (I am referring to the dough donuts not the cake donuts). The icy was not smooth. Instead just a hint of sugar crystals. The worst part was the hint of lardy coating that was left in the mouth after eating one. The shop was clean. And the service was very friendly. They had regular customers in the shop which shows they have appreciative customers. Hands down, best donut place in KC, not even a contest. The added breakfast food items are incredible too! This place is right out of the 90s in an unassuming neighborhood in Raytown. For thier free doughnut day they have made the original recipe doughnut that was given to our armed forces on the front lines during WW1. Titled the "doughboy" given out to soldiers by "doughnut lassies" to give our boys a taste of home. Dont sleep on this little strip mall treasure.

Came here for a quick breakfast. It’s like any typical donut shop you order at the counter then there’s a small seating area off to the side. This seems like a family business as there was kids behind the counter and helping wait tables. They had good customer service and were helpful getting missing items like straws, sugar, etc. We ordered glaze donuts and maple bars as well as a ham omelette and a breakfast sandwich with bacon and sausage. Food was good, cooked to order, donuts were okay nothing fancy.

This place is such a blast from the past! They have games and toys for everyone! There’s a nostalgic environment for both kids and adults.The lady who runs this place is absolutely amazing. Watching her interact with customers, you can tell she truly cares, and she’s a big part of what makes this place so special! I definitely recommend coming when you have time to really enjoy everything they offer inside!The only downside is that wait times can be a little long , depending on the day! It seems like the same amazing woman is running most of the operations herself, while others are mainly work
