Driving around a new area is a great opportunity to try some place new, today it was Sammy's Cafe. First thing that I noticed is they offer a weekday classic breakfast, 2x2x2 eggs, bacon, and pancakes for $10.99. In today's world that is a good price. My wife tried the strawberry blinz as was very happy to say they were fresh and good. The staff was attentive and the cafe seemed to be fairly new. It looks like they did a descent job of converting a Baja Fresh to a comfortable cafe.They have an outdoor patio that would be nice in good weather to eat at. Overall a very good experience

Sammy’s Cafe in Upland is one of the best local breakfast and comfort food spots on Foothill Blvd. The atmosphere feels like a classic family diner, the staff is always welcoming, and the service is consistently fast and friendly even when they’re busy. The portions are generous, the food tastes homemade, and everything comes out fresh and hot. Their breakfast plates, pancakes, hash browns, and omelets are seriously underrated. I also love that the menu has both American and Mexican options, so there’s something for everyone. The restaurant is clean, relaxed, and has that local neighborhood

Very reasonable prices first off! When we walk in, they seat us right away and simply say "The Usual". Victor always takes very good care of us. When he's not there the other guys already know what we want. Always hot and fresh. Great Service!
