I’m really disappointed with my recent order from Angan Restaurant. I understand it was a busy Friday evening, but that should never justify serving food that feels stale or poorly prepared. (Please note the staff at the counter were very nice and they were very helpful) However, the food was very bad. The chicken biryani was honestly the worst I’ve had, it was mostly plain rice with barely any flavour. It lacked aroma, spice balance, and overall quality. Very underwhelming. The dish lacked flavour entirely, and the gravy was extremely thin—more like something out of a packet than a freshly prepared meal. It didn’t feel authentic or satisfying at all. “Absolutely furious after my pickup order from Aangan Point Cook tonight. Dropped over $50 on the so-called ‘non-veg tandoori platter’ plus 2 garlic naans, thinking it’d be a decent meal for the price. What a complete and utter rip-off! The portion size was pathetic – barely enough for one person, let alone worth that kind of money. A handful of tiny, sad chicken pieces scattered on a bed of limp cabbage and onions, with some burnt bits thrown in. For $50+, I expected something generous and satisfying. We had a great dinner at Aangan Restaurant today. It had been a long time since we enjoyed food this much! Everything was delicious. A special thanks to Laksh for his excellent service. He was very welcoming, friendly, and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!
