It’s part part of cinnamon lakeside hotel but refused entry with a bottle I bought from the cinnamon lakeside pool bar.i was made to stay by the side line as the manager refused to accept the bottle was bought on their premises. I have been staying at this hotel since 2005 the only place I love and know in Colombo but to be left sitting here please see photo as the manager wouldn’t allow the bottle bought from their pool bar inside. It was the last game Sri Lanka would play probably in t20, they turned off the big screen to cater for some Chinese event where they got paid more possibly than to allow locals to watch the game. Now refusing access for me to finish my bottle of go I bought from the At the pool bar. Staff and management should be answerable to this!

Last Friday we visited ColomBar at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel and had an amazing night. The location itself is beautiful, set right by the poolside overlooking the calm waters of Beira Lake. As the evening went on, the cool breeze from the lake made the atmosphere even more relaxing and refreshing. It felt like a perfect escape from the busy city. The ambience at ColomBar is vibrant yet laid-back. The mix of indoor and outdoor seating allows you to either sit back and enjoy the view or move closer to the music and energy of the crowd. The night became even more lively with great live music followed by a DJ set that kept everyone dancing and enjoying the moment. The drinks menu is impressive, especially with their wide selection of arrack and local brews. The cocktails were well balanced and nicely presented. They didn’t redeem the entrance tickets of ours. We called them next day and requested them to refund the redeemable ticket amount but they keep rejected. According to staff they don’t have such system to pay tickets cost back. and was saying it’s our fault to not to present tickets to waiter with bill. They clearly know that boys charged with tickets and waiter clearly noticed there were 4 guys on the table. Be aware people. They don’t friendly or professional after you get out Colombar. They don’t care at all. Total unacceptable!!

The place has live music and a band is playing. This is not BYOB. About bites and portions it is bit questionable. There seems to be no proper bites for liquor and only dishes of main courses (curry or oily portions). They have bottle packages and seems fair. The Dishes are but oily which seems unnecessary. Service is good. Staff is attentive. Accept card payments as well. Outdoor seating but covered with a marque. Seems ok and no air conditioning. Only fans available.
