We stopped by The Pig's Head for their Sunday roast and shared the whole roast chicken. Honestly, it was great from start to finish. The chicken was cooked perfectly juicy, tender, and packed with flavour and all the roast trimmings were just as tasty. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome the whole time. You can tell the team genuinely cares about what they do. A fantastic Sunday roast in a lovely atmosphere. We recently attended their Farm to Fork event consisting of a four course lamb menu with wine pairing and a welcome cocktail. The event was very well run, with the owner, sommelier and farmer speaking about the food and wine. The food was spectacular, inventive and well executed by the kitchen. Highlights were the glazed lamb tongue, confit shoulder and sheep’s curd cheesecake. There is obvious skill and expertise in this kitchen.
