I literally never write reviews but I just HAD to leave a comment for this place. In a city centre full of chain cafes and overpriced touristy shops, this cafe is a breath of fresh air. The staff are some of the sweetest and friendliest people I've ever met, and it's easy to tell that they enjoy what they do. I make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area and the owner always makes me the CUTEST latte art - she never turns down a challenge!!! Hosted one of my workshops at Calton View Cafe and it genuinely felt like creating art in someone’s cozy little living room. The cafe has such a warm, homely atmosphere that instantly makes you slow down and stay a little longer. The food is just as comforting as the coffee, and the latte art is almost too cute to drink ☕☺️ every cup feels thoughtfully made. Ada is absolutely lovely and welcoming, and made the whole experience feel so easy and comfortable for everyone who walked in. A beautiful little spot for coffee, conversations, creativity, and calm moments.

Hi!! I came across this lovely cafe while touring around the Royal Mile and I loved it! The atmosphere and service were great. I loved my coffee specially because there was some awesome art in it. I’ll add the picture here. :) Overall, great food and coffee, and all the staff were really welcoming and friendly! A cozy little gem just off the Royal mile. I more than recommend it!
