Staff are always so friendly and helpful even when it’s busy, which it does get at times. The layout is a bit odd inside and it feels cramped but the drinks and the food are always great

Unfriendly experience today. Im a regular customer and almost always grab a coffee or hot chocolate, but while waiting for a friend I sat on my laptop for about 30 minutes and was told to buy something or leave, even though the café wasn’t busy. Also, tables were left dirty for a long time with dishes still on them. It’s a shame because it’s usually a bustling, lovely café which is why I come here so often.

We are regular visitors to Caffè Nero in Waterstones Basingstoke and always enjoy the coffee and the staff are friendly and helpful. We are however becoming increasingly frustrated by not being able to find any available seating. This is particularly annoying when so may four seater tables are being take up by single laptop users. At our visit today this was the case on at least four separate tables where the single occupants clearly there for the long hall were watching movies and carrying out property searches etc. Whilst we waited none of the occupants moved and we observed a number of peop

Crammed and unorganised shop! Empty cups had not been cleaned of tables from previous customers and layout is very uneasy. Wouldn't recommend! The Starbucks and Costa are more spacious and are better locked after than this store/branch.
