The Coffee here is decent - Cafe Nero is probably the best of the High Street chains in the UK - which is the only positive thing about this café. The service is hilariously bad, with slow staff who lack even the most basic of customer service skills. It is also quite dirty and worn here, which does suit the generally depressing and run down vibe of Burgess Hill high street. Take a trip out of town to the Coffee Box for something better.

Cafe Nero should be renamed to Cafe Zero or even Sub Zero as it’s shambolic. Disgusting seats. Dust everywhere. Dirty floors and a dark dinghy setting. They need to have a complete rebrand and lighten the rooms. Just nasty. Went to an independent cafe down the road and a completely different experience. 🤬 Won’t be going back there again.

Honestly the worst branch of Cafe Nero to exist. I kept waiting for someone to take my order today and there were FOUR PEOPLE behind the counter, 3 talking and 1 just got free from serving the person before me, and I was the only person waiting, there was NOT a queue behind me. I waited for a few minutes, just staring at all of them and they just ignored me. I turned around and left. Its saddening to say that this wasnt the first time I experienced their terrible service. Theres a woman behind the counter who seems to be in charge and has a very rude tone almost every time I ordered something.

I really love it here….- I had got a chicken wrap and some cake. The cake itself was lovely The chicken wrap, yummy! The customer service - the two women who served me and my family yesterday night was so kind.
