I popped into Nero earlier today to escape the rain and warm up, and it was exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy with comfortable seating that made it easy to relax. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. ​While I didn't eat this time, they had a great variety of food and cakes on display, I was very tempted! I ordered a simple one-shot black coffee, and they handled the request with no problem at all, serving it up in a jiffy. I often visit this branch. It is usually clean and tidy. The staff are generally friendly and efficient. I almost always get the same item (flat white). The coffee is consistently made every time, which is very satisfying. Whenever I get cakes slices from here, they are usually always dry, like they've been out for a day or two. They have never tasted moist and fresh, in the many years I have visited. This is the same across Cafe Nero branches though, not specific to this branch. Still, it's a coffee shop, and their coffee is amazing.
