We go here quite a lot and the staff are always pleasant and very friendly; we prefer the coffee and food to any of the other chain coffee shops in Westwood cross. However recently have been shocked to see only one member of staff working a lot of the time by themselves despite the fact it can be busy in there. It’s unfair for a company, especially a big chain, such as nero to expect one person to run around doing everything single handedly and as someone who also works in hospitality, I know how stressful this could potentially be! In my opinion upper management should see to this and ensure

What a lovely place and location to have a cafe'. It's above a book store , so you can have a hot beverage read a book. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Plenty of space , so you are not feeling cramped im while you having a snack or drink. Good selection of on the menu

Can't fault the service. Excellent. Nice coffee and lovely cake (ginger loaf). However, I observed several hygiene issues. A member of staff petted a dog and returned to serving without washing their hands; a trainee had longer hair, which needed to be tied back; also, constantly touching their face and nose.
