Lovely café in Stanmore with a cosy atmosphere and great coffee. The staff are friendly and the service is usually quick even when it gets busy. It’s a nice place to sit down, relax, or catch up with friends over a coffee and pastry. They are dog friendly cafe too, The seating area is comfortable and the environment feels welcoming. Definitely a reliable spot if you’re in the area and want a good coffee.

I am HORRIFIED, absolutely disgusting place. A blonde and black hair barista was making my coffee and they had emptied out a used porta filter but HAD NOT CLEANED IT( the picture is one i found online to show you how it looked) and then went straight to making more coffees with that dirty thing multiple times with no shame, as a certified barista of 3 years, seeing that made me so shocked because cleaning a used port filter after just making a coffee is just common sense and the biggest rule to make sure a coffee is fresh and good. In store working 2 lady’s one of them is was busy with coffee making and taking orders and another one just walking around changing the blue paper roal (this need to be done when no have customer) when 3 customer, including me waiting to be serve after 10 minute when she see her colleague is busy with making coffees and coming in and asking how can I help? I just needed one sandwich When is ready She didn’t say anything no smile no nothing just give it to me the sandwich and turn around. Very expensive and very bad customer service.

I’ve ordered the same drink here three times. The first time it was well balanced and included whipped cream, which is how I’d expect it. On the next two visits, however, it was inconsistent — once very bitter and once overly chocolate-heavy — and both times the whipped cream was missing. When it’s made properly, it’s good, but there seems to be inconsistency in preparation. I hope this can be improved.
