I have always come to brynmawr store the atmosphere is cosy, relaxing especially for my dog who loves Costa. Unfortunately since the Costa has opened in Ebbw vale which have also visited, brynmawr has seemed to gone down hill a bit. This is due to maybe staff shortages but on numerous occasions visiting the store has either been closed and only drive through open or it’s not kept on top of with the tidiness. First visit to this Costa this afternoon and what a disappointment. Barely warm coffee. Incredibly slow service. Uncleared tables. Can't see me going again.

Don't use the mobile app to order as we never received our drinks for clock and serve went inside to enquire about our order and was told the order was not received at till showed order number and was told to wait for order to be cancelled and await a refund. After a long wait following the apps instructions it wasn't a pleasant experience and the staff were extremely unhelpful about the matter even when shown the order number and requested drinks.

Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they very rarely come from behind the counter to clear the tables and wipe them people are having to move used crockery to other tables so they can use it otherwise it's fine.
