Very disappointing. The website proudly states that the chefs have extensive training in Italian food. Based on our order, I'm assuming those chefs don't work there anymore. The carbonara was swimming in oil, the calamari was greasy and chewy, the bolognese contained barely any meat, and the calzone was drowned in sauce. The amount of oil left on the plates afterwards was ridiculous, as the photos clearly show. What really earned this review was the response. After spending over £70 and providing photos, I was simply told this was how the dishes were supposed to be.

Stopped in here for dinner on a Saturday night. Had to wait about 30 minutes without a reservation. Was definitely a busy night. Started off with a focaccia appetizer. For dinner, we had a Penne Arrabbiata, Risotto Mushroom, and Salmon. All our entries were good. Service was just ok as our server wasn't that attentive. I know he was covering multiple tables of young people, so maybe he was overburdened. With many good choices around, probably wouldn't be my first choice of restaurant.

I had a great time visiting the place. The staff who welcomed us were very friendly and helpful. I tried their salmon fish fillet with garlic mushrooms, and the food was delicious, with an appropriate portion size to satisfy one’s appetite. I also enjoyed the ambience and seating arrangement.
