Came into the pub with my wife for some dinner we got the chicken sharer and a couple burger and a side of onion rings. All of the food was delicious probably one of the best beef burgers I've had in a pub in a long time! And I eat a lot of burgers! Will be back for more.

When my mom and I were visiting the UK and were in Edinburgh, our first official meal was Milnes delicious pie with mash and cabbage and OH MY WORD! It was so delicious and met all the expectations. The bar itself gives off such an amazing atmosphere and makes you feel cozy and comfy. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant itself has seating both upstairs and downstairs. We obviously also had a beer shandy to match the experience. It was a 10/10 experience for me. Thank you ☺️☺️🙏🏻

The pork belly in the special burger although really tasty should generally have a crispy skin, not a soggy one. I wouldn't fault anything else with regards to the food though, and it's a nice boozer. Real friendly staff as well.

Friendly place! Our small group of Texans enjoyed a great meal, drinks and desserts the other evening while watching the football game. Nice crowd, good vegan options for those that go that way. Great and cheerful service! Thanks from one Milne to another!
