Breakfast is a surprise. Don't let the appearance fool you as the portions are just right. Basic breakfast and egg scramble all with crispy (emphasize on crispy), bacon is well seasoned and presented. Muffins are excellent and well sized. Just be sure to ask and point to the exact flavor and muffin since the look of the muffin may not match the flavor - it can be deceptive (in an interesting way). Overall, very good breakfast.

This morning, I enjoyed a coffee date with my wife at Corner Bakery Cafe, located in Carlsbad. As usual, I sipped on a hot cup of coffee. Coffee meets standards, but what makes the Corner Bakery shine is the warm ambience of the bakery. Music was playing in the background. The art and decorations complement the environment. There is plenty of seating, to include outdoor seating. People were dining in the restaurant either enjoying coffee and conversation or working on their laptops.
